I bought this lotus from Texas Water Lilies in 2022. I received a runner about 4 inches long. Having had a water garden for almost 35 years I expected the lotus not to bloom until the second year (2023). It aggressively grew and by the end of summer produced 8 flowers. Great lotus leaves grow to 2.5 feet tall flowers are slightly taller with an addictive scent. I grew this lotus in a container in Northern New Jersey (Zone 6).
